Dear Family,

Happy Monday Morning! After Conference this weekend, I feel so uplifted and ready to face the challenges that come with serving the Lord, especially here on campus. Hearing the words of counsel from the prophets and apostles was a great comfort and strength, especially after the trial of being here in Tallahassee.

This week was alright. After last weeks email about how it has cooled down, it decided to get hot again. But, there is still some coolness in the air. It isn't nearly as humid as it used to be, which I am definitely grateful for.

On Friday the LDSSA had a lecture on campus called "Understanding Mormonism". President Summerhays and one of his counselors came and spoke at it. Two of our investigators came to it. It was pretty good. One of them, who we have had a hard time setting appointments with and actually getting to teach her instead of answering her questions, really impressed President Summerhays. He said that she really is searching and has really good potential. We are teaching her this week. She said that she had a lot of questions, but we are going to make sure that we can teach her an actual lessons and then get to her questions.

Lindsay got into an accident this week, and so we had to drop one of our lessons with her. It was really sad, but she seemed to be alright, just a little shaken up.

This week we started a new finding method. It all started out of a simple little thing. On campus they have been pushing really hard to get everyone registered to vote. This past week they had a table set up along one of the main sidewalks. One evening we saw it and decided that we would sit at the table because it would be something new. And, it worked. We had a pros Book of Mormon and two pamphlets on the table. More people talked to us then than usually do in a day. And, we found a new investigator from it! He said he knows he needs to get baptized but hasn't done it yet. We are meeting with him this week. I am so excited about it! Because of the success that we had, we decided to use the same method the next night and ended up having really great conversations with three people. It was the highlight of my week!

So, Ben and Shannon finally announced they were having a baby publicly. I am so excited for it. I'm more excited because the due date is the week before I come home!

I'm glad to hear that things are good at home and with everyone. Thank you for your love and support. Knowing that I have family who is supporting me makes the hard days easy to get through. I love you all!

Love, Joanna
